Adepa Teachers Co-operative Credit Union, formerly known as Swedru Teachers Co-operative Credit Union, is a member-owned financial institution based in Agona Swedru, Central Region, Ghana.

Established in 1970, it was the first credit union in the Central Region, founded by Mr. J.A. Biney, a teacher at the Swedru Methodist Middle School. The union began with an initial membership of 10 teachers from the Swedru Urban Council ‘B’ Basic School. Over the years, the credit union has experienced significant growth, expanding its membership and services. By 2016, membership had increased to 6,941, comprising 3,273 males and 3,612 females, with 56 groups. In 2020, the union celebrated its 50th anniversary, highlighting its impact on members’ lives and its status as one of the most vibrant and well-managed non-banking institutions in the Central Region.
